it is necessary that you complete these requirements in addition to the standard
application that requires you to answer four questions. Please submit as much of
your supplemental materials as possible electronically (you will be given this option
in each scholarship), but for supplemental materials that can’t be attached (SMUD
bill), please bring them to the Scholarship Help Desk located in the Career Center
in the Student Services Building.
Please put your first and last
name, along with your student ID number on the upper right hand corner of each submission.

If you find that your personal and academic information currently on file is incorrect, please contact the Admissions and Records Office in person. Disbursement of Funds:
Recipients will be notified by mail and a list will be posted at the ARC Foundation
office by late April. Funds will be disbursed in late August 2018. Students must provide
verification of registration prior to receiving the check. Transfer students must
provide enrollment verification from their four-year college/university to the ARC
Foundation Office located in the Administration building. If a transfer recipient
enrolls in an institution where first date of attendance is after September 2018,
he/she must notify the Foundation Office in writing by September 2018 or the scholarship
will go to the alternate. Funds for transfer students will be forwarded to their
transfer college after proof of enrollment verification is received. Important:
Please be prepared to pay for your classes prior to receiving your scholarship check,
as class payments are usually required before ARC is able to disburse funding.
Scholarships are not interchangeable, nor will they be held for use at a later date.
If you are transferring to a four-year university, you must provide verification
to the ARC Foundation office of acceptance to the university and your funds will
be forwarded. Scholarships not picked up by the sixth week of the ARC fall 2018 semester
(October 2018) will be awarded to the alternate.
Occasionally a limited number of scholarships may have their award amounts change
from the time you apply to when you receive the award.
The scholarship committee will determine the recipients of scholarships which is
