Provide this link Recommendation Entry, your student ID# and your last name to your recommenders. Please note that some scholarships may require additional online recommendations.

Supplemental Materials and Getting Help:

Most scholarships have other requirements such as: writing essays, additional letters, watching a video, attending an event, etc. In order to qualify for the scholarship, it is necessary that you complete these requirements in addition to the standard application that requires you to answer four questions. Please submit as much of your supplemental materials as possible electronically (you will be given this option in each scholarship), but for supplemental materials that can’t be attached (SMUD bill), please bring them to the Scholarship Help Desk located in the Career Center in the Student Services Building. Please put your first and last name, along with your student ID number on the upper right hand corner of each submission.

In addition to turning in documents, you can also get personal help from January 23 – March 1 during the following days and hours at the Scholarship Help Desk located in the Career Center in the Student Services Building:

We use your personal and academic information that is currently is on file with the ARC Admissions and Records Office. If you find that your personal and academic information currently on file is incorrect, please contact the Admissions and Records Office in person. If it hasn’t updated within 48 hours after making the correction to your personal and academic file, please contact them at 484-8261. If you have previously logged into the scholarship site with your student ID and birth date and have since made changes to your address, GPA or major with the Admissions and Records Department, you MUST click on the button that says "Update with More Information" for the changes to take effect. Please note that any changes you need to make to your file with Admissions and Records must be completed by Friday, February 24th, 2018. This is one week prior to closing of our scholarship program.

Disbursement of Funds:

Recipients will be notified by mail and a list will be posted at the ARC Foundation office by late April. Funds will be disbursed in late August 2018. Students must provide verification of registration prior to receiving the check. Transfer students must provide enrollment verification from their four-year college/university to the ARC Foundation Office located in the Administration building. If a transfer recipient enrolls in an institution where first date of attendance is after September 2018, he/she must notify the Foundation Office in writing by September 2018 or the scholarship will go to the alternate. Funds for transfer students will be forwarded to their transfer college after proof of enrollment verification is received. Important: Please be prepared to pay for your classes prior to receiving your scholarship check, as class payments are usually required before ARC is able to disburse funding.

Scholarships are not interchangeable, nor will they be held for use at a later date. If you are transferring to a four-year university, you must provide verification to the ARC Foundation office of acceptance to the university and your funds will be forwarded. Scholarships not picked up by the sixth week of the ARC fall 2018 semester (October 2018) will be awarded to the alternate.
